VIDA Volunteer

Please read Vida’s payment and cancellation policy carefully.

Remember to make sure the dates of our projects do not conflict with any prior engagements before signing up. Participation funds are used to cover logistics, planning, supplies and administrative expenses. However; unlike other organizations, we understand that sometimes unexpected things can happen so if you have to cancel, please consider the following:

- USD$100 application fee is not refundable nor transferable to future trips

- If you cancel your participation more than 30 calendar days prior to the trip you can send an e-mail request for us to transfer 60% of your paid amount(Minus the non-refundable application fee) to any future VIDA trip within the next 12 months from your cancellation date).

- For cancellations received less than 30 days, Vida will not be able to transfer any amounts to any future trips.
- If Vida cancels a team, volunteers will be offered a full refund or transfer to another team.

Made a mistake and need to cancel your transaction?

Occasionally, you may need to cancel a transaction, for instance, if you used the wrong credit card. If this is the case, you have 2 business days from the transaction date to request the cancelation/refund of that transaction. Please contact info@vidavolunteer.org

Payment arrangements are available and you can contact us at info@vidavolunteer.org for more information. If you don’t comply with your arrangement and need to cancel, no transferable amounts will apply.

Waiting List Policy

Vida may start waiting lists to ensure the integrity of all three programs and the personalized learning experience for each volunteer.

If you apply for a trip that is already full, you will be put on a waiting list, and we will confirm your participation 90 days prior to the service trip.

If there are no spots available we will reimburse your USD$100 application fee and any additional payments you have made.
