We are a nonprofit organization, registered under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and uphold the highest standard in being responsible towards our mission and to those who we serve. This includes our donors, sponsors, students, program beneficiaries, staff, and the general public.

Trip fee breakdown

Our students fee cover lodging during their trip. Lodging accommodations are a combination of hotels and homestays.

*Students are assigned on double or triple rooms.

It includes airport pickup and drop off, transportation from our partner communities to hotels/homestay, as well as, transportation during recreational days and/or group activities. All buses used are modern, safe and reliable, and the transportation units are typically air-conditioned “coasters” or mini-buses that seat 25 passengers.

It includes all breakfasts, lunch during clinics and orientation day as well as our welcome and farewell dinner. Purified water will be available for our students during the entire trip.

*While staying with a host family all meals are included.

**Meals during recreational days or free evenings are not included.

Refers to all tours scheduled during our trips. Some of the activities included on our itineraries are beach day, zip lining and city tours. Vida uses only reputable providers with experience and trained personnel, suppliers must comply with local laws and regulations, it is mandatory that equipment is kept in right conditions.

Expenses included on this section are: Team leaders phone credit, social bonding activities, birthday celebrations, homestay farewell dinners and any other expense that occurs during the trip.

Our student’s participation fee allows us to support and hired local bilingual professional. Our trip staff includes: licensed bilingual physicians, dentist and veterinarians, as well as, interpreters, clinic coordinators, veterinary assistants and our team leaders.

All medication and services provided during our clinics are cover with our student’s contribution. Some of the services provided during our clinic days are general consultation, teeth extractions, fillings and cleanings, as well as, domestic animals spay and neuters among other services.

Involves recruitment and promotional expenses, as well as itinerary planning and site inspections.

Refers to our Vida offices expenses, salaries and utilities. Our offices are located in the United States, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
